About
Born and raised in Washington, DC, I grew up in the city yet enjoyed ample access to nature. I studied English, Spanish, and Art History at Wake Forest University and in Madrid. A summer on a Wyoming ranch then led me to Denver, where I earned a Master of Architecture degree at The University of Colorado Denver. After graduation, I traveled to Europe and Japan to research architecture, specifically Metabolism.
Living with humility and respect for the natural world leads to responsible design. As an only child, I learned to embrace the power of patient investigation that can lead to innovative solutions. Through school and first-hand experience I have learned the beauty of detail, the delight of dedication, and the value of a diverse and open-minded learning process.
My background and ongoing studies help me create calm and balance in the human experience, whether through material selection or spatial organization. In the search for a better future, I will continue to work from a multidisciplinary and pedagogical perspective.
I am currently living and working as an architect in New York City.
